The ministry of finance has announced that new tax rates, outlined in paragraph 1 of schedule 4 of the 1981 income tax act, took effect on march 1, 2024. An increase in the individual income tax threshold from nad 50,000 to nad 100,000 from 1 march 2024, along with adjustments in the tax brackets as follows:
